Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy describes the information Banker processes to operate the platform and your rights regarding that information. It reflects the data Banker actually collects and processes.

Banker League is operated by Benjamin Stanier trading as Banker League.

To operate your account and the games, Banker processes:

• account information, such as your email address and username/display name;
• gameplay activity, including your picks, streaks and results;
• league membership and league activity;
• Points League activity, including your predictions, predicted scores and points scored (competition score only — no monetary value);
• device and technical information, such as push-notification subscription details and basic browser/device information used to deliver notifications;
• support communications, where you contact Banker for help; and
• payment transaction information, where you make a purchase (see below).

Where paid features are available and you make a purchase, payment processing is provided by Stripe. Banker receives confirmation of the transaction (such as a purchase identifier and status) but does not receive or store your full payment-card details. Card details are handled directly by Stripe and are not transmitted to Banker.

We process this information for purposes including:

• operating user accounts;
• providing gameplay and settling games;
• operating leagues and leaderboards;
• processing purchases and granting access to digital features;
• preventing abuse and maintaining security;
• providing customer support; and
• improving and developing the service.

Banker uses third-party services to operate the platform, including:

• Stripe — payment processing (where paid features are active). Stripe processes your payment information under its own terms;
• Sports-data providers — to supply football fixtures and results used for game settlement; and
• Cloud hosting and platform infrastructure — to host and run the service.

Banker uses local storage and similar technologies on your device for essential functionality (such as remembering your session and UI preferences). We do not use advertising cookies.

We keep your information for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the service, comply with legal obligations and operate the games. Gameplay records (such as picks and results) may be retained to maintain leaderboards and historical accuracy.

Banker takes reasonable measures to protect your information. No method of transmission or electronic storage is completely secure, but we apply appropriate technical and organisational safeguards.

Depending on your location and applicable law, you may have rights to access, correct or delete your personal information, or to object to certain processing. You can submit a request using the contact details on our Contact page.

You can delete your account directly from within the Banker app by going to your Profile and selecting "Delete Account". Account deletion is permanent and cannot be undone.

When you delete your account:

• your profile information (username and display name) is permanently removed;
• your push notification subscriptions and notification history are deleted;
• your historical game records (picks and results) are anonymised — they remain in the system to preserve league and competition integrity for other players, but no longer show your identity;
• legally required payment and transaction records are retained for accounting purposes, with your personal email removed; and
• your Points League predictions are anonymised — any unsettled predictions settle normally, but no longer show your identity.

We may update this Privacy Policy as the platform develops. Material changes will be communicated appropriately.
